I upgraded from version 219 after receiving an update prompt. Printing to novaPDF 9 no longer works - I receive an error message "Cannot read license for printer novaPDF 9 - Save and Open (error 4380). Please start 'novaPDF Server' service (Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Services)". However, opening novaPDF 9 Activation shows me:
Your activation is valid, the program is functional
Thank you for choosing novaPDF
Key: (my key displays here but I've hidden it"
License: Permanent. Does not expire
And Administrative Tools - Services shows me novaPDF Server service is running. Restarting it made no difference.

For sure, you shall follow instructions written above here - yeah, the "have you tried to turn it off and on again" solutions may seem ridiculous, but at least there's no any other to suggest. As far as I know, that problem is quite uncommon, but I do think it would be figured out soon, and you can try another tool to view and edit PDF documents online while you're waiting https://form-cd-401s.pdffiller.com/ and not the wisest suggestion from me to you, but you may try to block licence checking from setting - maybe it would lead you to something
