Would like to be able to select multiple document sources (Excel, Word, pdf) to combine and email daily on unattended automated schedule. This batch routine or macro would need to be editable to rearrange order and / or content of the final document.

None of our products can batch combine documents unattended (you can merge documents however but manually - see http://www.novapdf.com/kb/merge-pdf-fil ... f-146.html for details).
