License not valid for printer (error 4380)

I am using the latest build (8.5 build 938). After purchasing and installing it, I was able to use it a few times by printing from Microsoft Word.

But, after a while, the message appears: "License is not valid for printer novaPDF 8 (error 4380). Print job will be cancelled".

If I uninstall Nova PDF and re-install it, then it works again, but only for a few times.

I haven't pinpointed the cause. I am using Windows 10. Microsoft Word 2010.

I do have Ceno PDF installed, but I don't think that is causing any harm.

If I click on Devices and Printers in Windows System settings, I see that Nova PDF Pro v5 is installed as one of my printers. Not sure where that came from. I am able to Save As from Word to a PDF file and I believe that action probably uses the Nova PDF Pro v5 device.

Should I uninstall Nova PDF Pro v5?

Thanks

I removed cenoPDF and the problem still exists. I noticed that if I save a Word document as a PDF (Save As, then select PDF), then thereafter, I am unable to print to novaPDF. I have to uninstall and reinstall it. WHY??

Please install the latest build (940) as there were some corrections regarding this error.

This error (4380) is shown in the latest version when the service "novaPDF Server" is not started. The service should start automatically when your computer is restarted, but on some systems that doesn't always work. The last build should fix it, however if not here are the manual steps to "force" it:
1. First of all, if you haven't already, try to restart your computer and see if the error is still shown.
2. If the error persists then you must start the "novaPDF Server" service. To do that go in your Control Panel -> Administtrative Tools -> Services, click on novaPDF Server and then Start it.
