Re: Automatically Uninstalling NovaPK

Hello, the uninstall is always placed in the folder where novaPDF was installed, and in the registry, the key is placed in the following path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Softland\novaPDF 7\InstallPath

Thank you.

Re: programfiles variable 32-bit vs 64-bit app trigger

Hello, We did not find an environment variable for the Program Files folder for 32 bits, the way you wish to use it. But if you are willing to place the files in a different folder, you may use indeed the SYSTEMDRIVE or any other environment variable. We will release a new build in a week or two. Th...

Re: Automatically Uninstalling NovaPK

If you wish to unistall first, you have to start the unistaller, unins000.exe, from p...

Re: programfiles variable 32-bit vs 64-bit app trigger

Hello, novaPDF installs as a 64 bit application on x64 computers and this is the reason why the %PROGRAMFILES% environment variable points to C:\Program Files in novaPDF context. We do not have a solution now for this situation, but we will make a change in our installer so these situation will work...

Re: [BUG] NovaPDF 7 randomly drops license on win7 64-bit

Hello, thank you for the detailed information. We tried to replicate this behavior but our sample applications work fine in this situation. We suspect it might be specific to Visual FoxPro applications but we do not have VFP here so we cannot test this. We will prepare a debug build for you to gener...

Re: Nova installer making printer the default on Win7

Hello, we tried to install the novaPDF 6.4.308 printer version using your described scenario on both win 7 32 and 64 bit editions but the printer is not added as default in either OS'es when installed using the command line specified. The only test case where it is added as default is when there isn...

Hello, Could you please tell us what version and build number of novaPDF do you use? Also please tell us what type of documents do you print from your application, do you use third party applications, like printing Word documents?

Thank you.

Re: problems with OEM setup

Hello, we suggest that you first check if you did not misspell the /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES parameter (double S), this might be the reason why you are receiving the message boxes during setup. The un-installer does not take the printer name as argument indeed. Unfortunately we do not have a technical solut...
