No longer printing pdfs

I typically upgrade software whenever it's suggested that I do so, but this time it really hurt me. I guess the upgrade was to version 8.2. When I try to print to pdf, it calls up the printer but does not give me a chance to say where I want the pdf saved. I don't think anything is being saved because I search for recent documents and nothing is found. My preferences are set for the program to ask me for a path before printing to pdf, which it used to do with the previous version, but it's no longer doing this. Can I safely go back to the previous version?

We have indeed a problem in build 8.2.927 for the Lite and Standard editions of novaPDF that we're currently working on.
Until we fix it, please install version 8.1. Follow next steps:

- Uninstall novaPDF version 8.2 from Control Panel \ Programs list
- download and install novaPDF 8.1.923 from here: https://backup4all.blob.core.windows.ne ... PCTaqtA%3D

I am sorry for all the trouble caused, we will fix it as soon as we can.

Hi I hope you can help me with this no-printing issue after the 8.2 update.
something happened and it would let me go right through and save it etc then nothing happened.
it was the same with the doPDF, seemed to be disabled aswell.
the addins looked OK in the Word Options page, meaning they weren't showing as disabled, but were not present on the toolbar....

I saw your recommendation and looked at the NovaPDF on my computer - it was the 8.2.version - so I uninstalled it. and the add-ins.
Only problem was that when I went to install the 8.1 version it has asked me for the activation key!!
I had been using NovaPDF as part of microsoft office 2013 which I purchased last year....
how does that work??!
Crap, now I don't have it at all!!

is this rescuable?

The issue with the Lite edition has been corrected in build 929, so you can download the new version from the official page:
