Had no problems with novaPDF for months, maybe years - in Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Notepad..... I use it mainly to save paper and ink by printing receipts to PDF. After updating to IE10 I'm finding that when printing from IE it hangs after selecting the NOVA PDF printer from my list of printers. It all works ok 1 in every 3 or 4 attempts, but mostly it fails. IE has to be killed with Task Manager.

The print queue just shows it Spooling....

I've tried a reinstall of NovaPDF and a reboot but the next attempt just hung....

Any one else?

EDIT - Just tried to print this page (NON HTTPS) and it hung after the Save File As PDF dialogue box..... Again just Spooling...

Was it only novaPDF hanging in Internet Explorer or it happened with other printers as well? There was no need to reinstall novaPDF as the problem was in IE, most likely you should have disabled temporarily the protective mode and see how it works.

I have exactly the same problem...

After upgrading to Internet Explorer 10 I get an error message in IE10 like "www.xxx.xxx has stopped responding..."

I also notice that the save as dialogue has two windows open when this happens...

If I do a print out from Google Chrome it works fine.

Definately something in IE10 that is causing these problems...

I have tried to find out how to "disable temporarily the protective mode" but I am unsure of where to do it?

Has there been any progress on this problem? We see this in IE11 using 7.7.394. Did you deduct why this happen or gotten any closer to a solution?

Hi Vykos, if you have any print hanging problems in IE11 please email [email protected], we couldn't locate any specific bugs in novaPDF regarding IE printing.
