print spooler issues

I have tried a number of times to convert a word document and constantly get error messages when adobe tries to open the document. It tells me the file may be from an incorrectly decoded email attachment and I get the following error messages in windows

I am running windows 7
I have no knowledge of any of this but hope someone may be able to tell me where to start and how to fix the problem please
